书中暗表：今年金马奖颁给明骥终身成就奖。明先生的获奖感言一副党国大佬训话的老派头，太有意思了！

2009日正當中
日正當中。我在衡陽路來來回回的找著那家「極品軒」。昨天晚上去中山堂參加台北電影節的頒獎典禮時，經過這家餐廳時還多看了一眼，沒想到隔了一天就忘了。
終於走進了餐廳的包廂裡，大家都怪我說住家越近的人越會遲到，我也只好承認自己笨。做為主人的明老總（按：前中影總經理明驥先生）正對著客人們說著那件他已經說過千萬遍的「求才記」，每次這樣的餐聚，他都要再說一遍。
關於我的部分，他好像是這樣說的：「那天我本來要去醫院看病的，可是因為和小野有約就忍著痛等他來。我可是半年前就要他們去約小野，他們回報我說 小野不可能會來中影上班。結果呢，我們只談了一小時，他就被我說服了。哈哈哈。他走後我才去醫院。」明老總的湖北鄉音會把「小野」說成「消夜」。如果吳念 真在場就會故意逗他說：「消夜是因為拿不到編劇費想找明老總吵架的，沒想到明老總更狠，將計就計的騙消夜到中影來上班。」「別聽屋捻針亂說。」明老總開懷 大笑。
1980烏雲遮日
那是1980年秋冬之際，二十九歲的我從美國回到台灣快一年了，寫了五個電影劇本都沒拍成電影，有些連編劇費都拿不到。明老總真的很詐，他要我年 底十二月就來西門町的中影公司報到上班，1981年才正式起薪。不入虎穴焉得虎子？我把心一橫就答應了，我的位子就安排在吳念真的對面。當時還在讀輔仁大 學夜間部的吳念真比我早一年來到中影當編審。中影的編審位高權重事情少，當時的編審都是資深導演，怎麼輪得到一個還在讀夜間部的大學生？據說當時公司上下 都在謠傳這個大學生一定是國民黨大老吳某某的後代。
明老總其實正下了一步險棋，是一步「你死我活」的棋。
那時候的明老總正是我現在坐五望六的年齡。他在中影電影製片廠當廠長的時代，力主建造中影文化城，甚至於不惜自行掏錢，先幹再說。一切從無到有， 用舊材料一磚一瓦慢慢的蓋著影城，提供業界拍戲使用，也讓公司賺了大錢。明老總又連續辦了好幾期的電影技術人員訓練班，培養攝影、錄音和剪接方面的人才， 其中像錄音師杜篤之、剪接師廖慶松、攝影師李屏賓後來都陸續得到國家文藝獎及國際影展的肯定，成為這個行業中的國際級頂尖大師。當時由他擔任製片的電影包 括《汪洋中的一條船》（李行導演）、《皇天后土》（白景瑞導演）、《苦戀》（王童導演）等。
後來他從中影製片廠廠長被上級拔擢為中影公司總經理，身兼影劇協會理事長，成了當時電影界的龍頭老大。正當他的事業如日中天之際，卻被大片大片的 烏雲遮蔽。當時內外在的政治環境正在劇烈改變，但是真正將他綁住的是幾部耗資數千萬卻尚未殺青的政令大戲，加上已經上片票房卻不如預期的年度大戲，上級單 位對中影下達暫停拍片的封殺令。一家擁有許多戲院、擁有大製片廠和大沖印廠的大電影公司不拍片還能做什麼？「找一個會說故事的人在每個月的動員月會上講故 事吧。」明老總這樣想著，就把「屋捻針」從松山市立療養院挖過來，再來就是「消夜」。
1981四人幫
1981年這一整年，除了繼續未完成的政令大戲外，眼看就要跨過三十歲的「消夜」和二十九歲還在讀大學的「屋捻針」在這家大公司封閉的氣氛和上級嚴密的監控下一籌莫展，只有在中午大家都午休時相約打乒乓球，在你來我往的廝殺之間罵著三字經，消耗著所剩不多的青春。
全公司只剩下明老總還相信中影是有未來的。
他常常把我們找去訓話：「要拿出毛澤東在延安窯洞裡苦苦忍耐的精神，為了中華民國未來的電影事業發展，一點點犧牲和忍耐算什麼？要搞革命是要流血 的，不是花拳繡腿的。」從毛澤東說到中華民國的電影事業，他未免扯太遠了。不過看在他那高亢的語調和像要腦充血的紅臉有倒斃的危險，我們總是乖乖的回到工 作崗位上，繼續編織著連自己都不再相信的白日夢。
明老總繼續他的求才計畫，為了加強行銷宣傳能力，說服了一個正創立滾石唱片的老闆「短中衣」（段鍾沂）加盟中影，另外又添了一個剛從紐約雪城讀完 電影碩士，相當叛逆的「逃得成」（陶德承）給我的企畫組。後來被公司的員工戲稱為「四人幫」的混蛋陸續到齊了，只等待革命的槍聲響起。
這是一場一發不可收拾的革命，一場改變台灣電影歷史的革命，一場連明老總的老命都差點要被葬送的革命。
1982兩個故事
諾貝爾文學獎得主俄國大文豪索忍尼辛在這一年秋天訪問台灣，發表了一篇震撼世人的演講：〈給自由中國〉，在十二天的訪問行程中，一直有個陪在他身 旁接送和交談的神祕人物。大家都很好奇那個會說俄語的人是誰，只有我們抬頭挺胸很臭屁的告訴記者說：「那是我們的明老總啦。你不知道他是台灣的蘇俄專家 啊。」吹噓完，我們都有點心虛的互相問說：「不知道索忍尼辛聽得懂明老總湖北腔的俄語嗎？」不過看電視機裡面走在索忍尼辛旁邊的明老總神采飛揚嘰嘰喳喳 的，感覺上挺神氣的。
是的，他是應該神氣的，因為這一年他為台灣電影寫下新的歷史。
中影公司兩部低成本的電影《光陰的故事》、《小畢的故事》創下了極高的票房紀錄，而這兩部「故事」電影成功的更大意義是宣告台灣的觀眾已經從質變 到量變了。《光陰的故事》捧紅了年輕的四大寇：楊德昌、柯一正、張毅、陶德承，《小畢的故事》更是宣告一個影響後世深遠的電影流派的開始，以侯孝賢、陳坤 厚為主的「萬年青集團」崛起，訓練出許許多多的子弟兵，引領台灣電影風騷至少二十年以上。
藉這兩部低成本電影的成功，我們順利衝破了上級單位對中影暫停拍片的封殺令。
1983革命分子
就在革命分子聚集在國民黨所控制的中央電影內準備好好大幹一場時，終於刺激了上級單位監督系統的敏感神經，他們針對由黃春明三個短篇小說所改編的 《兒子的大玩偶》（侯孝賢、萬仁、曾壯祥導演）下手。上級單位安排了一些黨內大老試片，主其事者心裡有了腹案，禁演或是大幅度修改。「這是一場血腥的人事 鬥爭，明老總和相關的人可能要下台了。」有人這樣傳話。在大別山打游擊出生入死過的明老總可非等閒之輩，他在後來的一場訪問中說：「當時吳念真在有大老的 會議中哭著離開說，完了，完了。這時我一個人孤軍奮鬥，四處奔走，要那些大老手下留情，為的就是要保住這部片子。我說，為什麼國民黨不能接受和我們意見不 同的人呢？」
那場試片會後，憤怒的上級主管痛罵這部電影簡直是在以三民主義為本所建設的基礎下挖牆腳。當時有些大老故意離席，也有大老表示這部片子拍得不錯， 只要稍稍修剪就可以，這樣溫和的主張逼使上級主管做出小幅修剪後才准上映的結論。所有的媒體在這場國民黨的內部鬥爭中一面倒的支持我們，我們雖然贏得了讓 這部電影順利上片，而且賣座轟動的結果，卻讓原有的拍片計畫擱置，也導致第二年明老總下台的必然結果。
他獨自一個人吞下了這個苦果。可是對後輩年輕的電影工作者而言，這卻是一個影響台灣電影歷史發展深遠的甜美果實。
2009遲來的正義
明老總離開中影後被安排到上級單位上班，他將他在中影所遇到的問題詳細告知新來的主管，為後來到中影擔任經營者的人解決了許多困擾，例如每個企畫 案都要經過上級單位核准後才能執行的規定就取消了。這期間上級曾經一度考慮要明老總再回去領導中影，為明老總婉拒，他的理由是讓別人做做看，也許會做得更 好。他默默的支持著台灣電影的發展，卻抱著成功不必在我的精神，逐漸從台灣電影界隱退。
明老總退休後就以他在俄文方面的深厚造詣在文化大學俄文系任教，造就了許多俄文方面的人才；他自己也立定志向，有計畫的撰寫中俄外交史等鉅著。他 曾經因為在學術方面和外交方面的貢獻，榮獲烏克蘭國際斯拉夫科學院院士及烏克蘭歐洲財經資訊大學榮譽博士的榮銜，但是他個人在台灣電影界的貢獻卻漸漸被媒 體遺忘。
時間會讓許多事情真相大白，時間也會讓一些遺憾得到彌補。旅居美國的明老總選擇今年（2009年）回到故鄉台灣，而台灣兩個最重要的電影節同時決定頒發終身成就獎給他，好像有點要為他平反的意味。
因為，一個不夠，一定要兩個同時頒給他。
因為，這是遲來的正義。
