《太阳照常升起》是部大陆不多见的片子，华丽、傲气凌人、自信、霸气，坦荡荡的气势，就像姜文的形象一样。姜文的电影带有明显的属于自己的烙印，我觉得他的电影是大陆少见的有气质的电影。不过这并不代表我喜欢《太阳照常升起》，在我看来这片子良莠不齐，有些地方过了。
先说结构，也就是要说故事了。肯定要剧透了，不过要是不说剧情，那就没法说下去了。故事从第四段开始，两个女人骑着骆驼在岔路口走上各自的路，周韵的丈夫因为别的女人被枪毙，她怀着房祖名决定去丈夫的老家；与此同时，姜文举行婚礼，那场带有建国常见的初期乐观情绪的婚礼上，一个帐篷燃烧着挂在了周韵所乘坐的火车车厢上，导致周韵受到惊吓产下房祖名，除了陈冲之外，房祖名、周韵、姜文、姜文媳妇、黄秋生全部都在命运的这个节点交汇。

大概就是这么一个故事，理顺这个结构对一个文学家来说并不困难。里面运用了很多魔幻的表现手法，就跟《地下》差不多，影影绰绰的围着现实的光怪陆离，这方面姜文展示了他傲人的资本，拍的好看，诗意、美丽。
当然这部电影不是这么简单的，还有另一部分。
四个片段，分别在故事之外存在着大量的隐喻，指向建国以来的历史。所出现的醒目的道具、事件等，都在上述故事之外还暗含着一个重要的使命，完成对历史的表现。这是一个很牛的想法，但是姜文将其表达的太晦涩了，以至于这种隐喻变成了艰难的揣摩。这是我讨厌的，我第一次看着电影的时候就对此厌恶，如果不是RS，我不会在几年后再看一遍的，当时打算再也不看了。我不反对用隐喻什么的来模糊地表达一些东西，但是不要搞得过分晦涩，你说了个事情，总要让别人猜到你的意思吧，就像《2046》或者蔡明亮这几年拍的电影，你自己都不见得要知道表达什么那还有什么意思，全依靠读者天马行空的想象的话，那还要你的电影做什么？《太阳照常升起》中有一些东西还能猜个大概，有一些则是全看个人发挥。
1、绣花鞋是什么意思？.从故事的角度来说，那可能是周韵或者房祖名他爹心中一直描绘的故乡，他们在新疆思乡时的寄托，或者是他爹泡周韵时的手段，对周韵来说那双鞋是不可取代的爱情的记忆，她这辈子就这么一件事，不然她也不会在得知男人出了那事之后干脆的疯了。从隐喻的角度来说，这双鞋是指什么，那种赶英超美，或者人民公社幸福生活的那种谎言？
2、石头房子是什么。从树下挖出的石头垒成了坚固的简陋的房子，但是其中的摆设却一碰即碎。树下的石头应该是指右派牛鬼蛇神什么的吧，他们让树歪了，把他们挖出来丢掉。但是顽固的牛鬼蛇神们固守他们的精神家园，就是那些一碰就碎的东西，那些东西是他们的回忆，是他们曾经的理想，不能碰的东西，只在虚幻中才能完整的存在。
或者是指那些不切实际的理想？在幸福的彼岸？
就故事而言，那个房子是周韵的回忆存放之所？
3、算盘。那个算盘是指刘少奇的那一套吧，有这个意思吧。
4、枪。枪有宿命的意义，黄秋生死后，枪代替他完成了报仇，姜文崩了房祖名，自己也肯定是个死。那么这支枪，对历史来说意味着什么？群众？人民？传统文明？
5、黄秋生和姜文在第二段中的几个回合，都在隐喻建国以来特别那十年的人民内部斗争，陷害、揭发、交代、军转干部，压抑的性象征那些人类的正常的欲望。对于那五个被抓出来的摸屁股的人，我认为可以理解为是屈打成招的，也可以更进一步的理解为是真的有五个人摸了不同的五个女人，这说明人民的欲望是无法真正扼杀的，这也是当时民间的真实写照，毕竟六人被摸只有一个不乐意的，黄秋生摸得那个简直一脸欢欣……
6、姜文等媳妇的那个山头上面的那只手，是如来佛握着孙悟空的那只手？暗指姜文善于对付女人？
7、周韵骑着骆驼到达那个苏联女人面前之前穿过的那些地方，是指苏联当时曾给中国带来了那些，工业啊什么的。苏联女人和翻译的分歧，那就是对于马克思主义的不同理解了。

《太阳照常升起》在结构上就有《大象》的影子，姜文做了改动，更花哨一点，使结构与讲故事手法更符合，他采用了倒叙。但是他没有像《大象》那么有力，《大象》的简洁有一种凝视的力量。我觉得姜文之所以要表达的这么晦涩，未必出于本意，可能有顾忌审查的原因，拍的隐晦一些就好过一点，毕竟这片子的投资不是那么简单的。
说到片中演员的表演，没什么说的。一部写意的片子，要的是符号，形象符号足以，也不会给演员表现的空间，不过他把周韵拍的是真漂亮。黄秋生会知道他在演什么，房祖名很可能根本不知道在演什么，陈冲的骚劲太外露了，让崔健扮演一个在古建筑工作的工匠或者工作者，这个确实是很神的构思，特别是崔健在透彻的讲述姜文那点事的时候，顺手在本子上画的，那可是五角星啊，老崔这一把客串确实有分量。可惜他敌不过陈冲的骚劲儿，所以很少有人在意老崔深刻的存在。陈冲的骚劲儿，怎么说呢，对戏来说是相得益彰的，但是对陈冲来说，那就浪费材料了，陈冲演的再闷一点可以表现的更骚。把周韵和陈冲比一下，就能看出周韵的纯来了吧，姜文的口味啊。
